Flying Blind, LLC Announces the Launch of OWAC! Operating Within A Cloud! 'OWAC: Where The Sky's The Limit!'
Flying Blind, LLC is most pleased to make the following announcement, just as we are beginning another school year for many of you, and preceding the start of a new fiscal year for those who work in the Federal and/or State Service Provider Capacities.
Over the past year we've discretely begun to gather information and conduct pilot presentations centered around the phenomenon known as "Cloud Computing". During this time the adoption of Cloud-based Apps have saturated our classrooms and places of employment. In the interest of honoring our Mission Statement, "Empowerment Through Technology", Flying Blind, LLC is proud to announce The OWAC Professional Development Workshop.
This scalable presentation is designed to provide guidance and strategies to Teachers of the Vision Impaired, Rehabilitation Providers, and Adaptive Technology Instructors as to how to properly identify the necessity for their consumers to develop competitive cloud computing skills within the aforementioned environments.
The OWAC Professional Development Workshop is being offered both onsite, as well as remotely. The OWAC Professional Development Workshop provides a blueprint for what the Cloud is, its ability to host Apps, and how, with proper strategies for interacting with these Apps, real-world task completion results are achieved alongside sighted peers.
The OWAC Professional Development Workshop is designed to lessen your consumers' dependence on one particular mainstream operating system, and expand their assistive technology choices beyond one single manufacturer.
The OWAC Professional Development Workshop promotes sharing, collaboration, socialization, inclusion, and success for vision impaired consumers when they marry the appropriate assistive technologies with the intended mainstream Cloud-based Apps, deployed across multiple platforms.
The OWAC Professional Development Workshop blends a hybrid of practical examples using Microsoft, Google, and Apple's respective operating systems, coupled with the appropriate assistive technology to provide clarity and guidance for its participants to best serve their consumers in the most caring and responsive manner possible.
